FRIDAY FAVORITES INTERVIEW WITH J.E. TAYLOR

Favorite Genre(s):
JET: Horror and thrillers.  Anything that gets my heart pumping.

List of at least 5 Favorite Books in that Genre:
JET:  The Stand, Patient Zero, Executive Orders, The Skin Trade, Blood Dreams

Favorite Author in that Genre, and Favorite Book by that Author: (Please explain why)
JET: Stephen King – The Stand.  I absolutely love this book.  It’s multifaceted view of good versus evil in post apocalyptic America and the depth of human emotion displayed from hatred to love is exceptional.  I think this is still his best work out there after all these years.

Favorite Book of All Time:
JET: See above.

Favorite Book Read Last Month:
JET: Love you More by Lisa Gardner

Favorite Book You Wrote: (Please explain why):
JET: Hunting Season.  I had an incredible time writing this one.  I took my FBI Agent - Steve Williams and challenged him in ways he never thought he’d encounter, including a run in with Ty Aris, my master criminal from the Games series.

Give Us One More Favorite Thing Beyond Books:
JET: Walking the stretch of beach in York Maine – not only is it great exercise, it’s the one place where I can work through plot issues and think up new stories and just enjoy the ocean air.   And on the same vein – sitting around the campfire with great neighbors enjoying a beautiful summer starlit evening.

Blurb from Hunting Season:

Torn between justice and vengeance, Steve must make a decision. Join alliances with Ty, or arrest him and lose his best chance to catch the bastard who destroyed his family.

"Unstoppable, breath stealing, and terrifying all at once." - Cat Connor, author of killerbyte, terrorbyte, and exacerbyte.

"Hunting Season goes where few venture, mixing a compelling crime thriller with supernatural forces. The action and drama is thick and fast and I guarantee you will not be able to put this book down." - Poppet, author of Seithe and Darkroom.
