In
honor of POW/MIA Recognition Day, September 21, author Kharisma Rhayne is
hosting the POW/MIA Recognition Day Hop, Sept 18 - 22. As the daughter of a veteran, I had to
join. My father made it back from Vietnam, but I can’t help but send my heart
out to those who lost family members to war. What they sacrificed for our
country should never be forgotten.
In
honor of all who have served and POW/MIA Recognition Day and this hop I would
like to give away a little patriotic package. I have one print copy left right
now of my own patriotic novella, A Strange Freedom: Blood & Fireworks. This
novella is not available in print, but I have with the publishers permission
printed a few copies for charity causes. Along with an autographed print copy
of the book (oh, and be warned, this novella is a paranormal, erotic romance –
if you want to read more about it, click here) I am at this moment knitting up
something red, white and blue.
I
hope to post the pic right here soon! Sorry, life has not been going according
to my plan these past few weeks :(

Thank you for being a part of this hop. This is a topic that is very near to my heart as I come from a long line of military men...All the way back to the Civil War and more recently, my son has enlisted this year. I am very proud of our men and women who serve. I say "Thank You" You are what makes this country great.

Thanks for participating Kiki...my step-dad was also in Vietnam and was lucky enough to come home (albeit with some injuries and terrible memories).
ReplyDeleteI am very proud of the military of the US. I served four years and my husband retired after 23 years! Many of my family members were /are vets and my uncle was a POW in Vietnam.
