Special Blog Post - All About Abby Hayes!

An Author To READ!

I first got to know Abby Hayes through a mutual publisher. And, although she’s a sweet and hard-working college kid (I can call her that as I attended college a few decades ago lol), I found once I’d read her stories that she was quite the old soul. I know from talking to her that her story, Finding Paradise, was inspired by talking to women in a college office where she works. Such a compassionate person, their stories and daily life complaints affected her. Then one day at work they were talking about an old song, I’ve Never Been to Me by Charlene, and the story just poured out of her. As touching as it is sexy, it’s one of my favorite stories of Abby’s. Of course, this story won her a JERR Silver Star review – on the first story she ever had published!!!

"Warning: please refrain from reading Finding Paradise while in the presence of others, as frequent relief may be required. Holy smokes this book is HOT! …For exquisite sex scenes, amazing writing and the "real talk" feel for online chat, Finding Paradise is certainly deserving of a JERR Silver Star Award. Bottom line, find your own bit of paradise and pick up Finding ParadiseASAP!" - Silver Star Award at Just Erotic Romance Reviews (5/5 Stars)

But, Abby also writes fun and really hot stories of women just out of college as well, ones that struggle out in the real world with real life, and she mixes those tough topics with themes like ménage, as in Dream Job. Where does she get the inspiration, well she just wrote back to my question *blushes* and *giggles* She’s admitted thus far only to having a huge imagination. Proof of that imagination, speaking of ménage, is in stories like The Girl Next Door  I’m all for that fantasy! No wonder reviewers have said that readers will be jealous of the main character Mandy.

Abby’s also versatile in her writing, and has written a hard-hitting (excuse the pun) M/M/M story that has a backdrop of the MMA among others. You have to read The Fights of Summer   BTW – It’s On Sale Now!  All titles are Buy Links. You have to wonder where she gets such grit? And, with college and a job where she finds the time to write. Abby says that she doesn’t sleep much, but what writing does for her mentally is worth it. Sometimes emotions just have to come out, and they can find strange avenues or very different voices, but it doesn’t matter as long as she gives them the voice they demand.

With Halloween just around the corner, I suggest you check out Costumes and Dungeons too!

As Christy gets ready for her once a year, letting go, night out with her friends, she vows to show them all just how carefree – how wild – she can be. Maybe she can even show herself a thing or two. Well, maybe. She’s just sick of being told to loosen up, to have fun, to enjoy life and all that shit.

Clad in a skimpy vampire costume, this Halloween, her friends Laurie and Missy take her to a big mansion across town. The place is so overwhelming, with the costumes, the music, the actions of the so-called adults in attendance, that she gets a good buzz with very little alcohol.

After rescuing a glass of wine and a picture from a careless couple who bang into a table, she finds herself covered in wine. A man also dressed as a vampire, the homeowner’s son, and a partner in the law firm her friend Laurie works for, leads her downstairs with the promise of getting her cleaned up.

But, the downstairs is more of a bachelor pad, and Christopher is very direct in proposing a night to remember, in what he calls ‘his dungeon’. To her surprise, she agrees. Clad in nothing but her vampire cape, heeled boots and plastic teeth, she submits to him far too easily.

But, things are not always as they seem…

Or, her short in the Wicked & Wanton All Hallows Eve Anthology
