I’m thrilled to be an NNP author. What an amazing year it has been. Within this past year I’ve met many wonderful NNP authors, benefitted from the ever-present help of Penny Peterssen, and even had a visit from owner Gina Kincade!
Other firsts in this first year for me were signing my first ever multi-work contract and writing my first ever series and first ever steampunk story. Also, I got my first ever All Romance Ebooks Silver Star ;) When a publishing house works together, authors feel free and are encouraged to push their boundaries. I’ve also been included in some wonderful themed anthologies.
So, let me show off a little what I’ve accomplished with NNP. Comment on this post to be entered to win, winner’s choice of one of my NNP books, gifted as an Amazon Kindle ebook.

Blurb:
The Willows is a resort town run by vampires, werewolves and
witches. Here, their true identities are kept secret from humans, and intimate
relations between the individual clans are strictly forbidden.
When it becomes known that the vampire Amberlyn has fallen in love
with the werewolf Kane, the tedious line of their co-existence has been
crossed. Caught in the crossfire of this revelation, Drake, the vampire clan
leader and Amberlyn’s maker, is killed along with an innocent witch. These
deaths spark a series of horrific events leading to an all out War In The
Willows.
In Book 1, Amberlyn’s vampire brother, Isaac, always one to kick ass first and deal with the consequences later, kidnaps a witch, Winter. He intends to find out what type of retaliation the witch clan is planning against the vampires and werewolves. In doing so, he finds so much more then he bargained for.
By Book 2, Isaac and Winter devise a plan to try to get the Elders of the clans talking peacefully. But, things don't go as they'd hoped, and the fighting between the clans becomes more devious - deadly. Now, Devin, another Vampire of Drake's making, steps in to help pick up some of the pieces.
When Book 3 begins, it is Devin who hides the biggest secret; he’s
in love with a local human. In a moment of desperation – of love – Devin sweeps
this human, Sara, away to his home in order to keep her out of harm’s way.
Unexpected close encounters, bodies ripe with need, and situations
beyond their control lead to forbidden relationships. Now three vampires, a
witch, a werewolf and a human must ride along the edges of the rules. They will
attempt once unthinkable romantic entanglements despite all those who oppose
their relationships while fighting for their lives as well.
With the Willows full of violence and bloodshed, meetings and
magic amiss, will the clans ever be able to find peace among them again? Or,
will this war destroy the Willows?

Reviews for Book I,
The Vampire's Witch
“This is the first adult book I've read by Kiki Howell. And it was
delicious! Good plot, great characters and sexy enough to raise the temperature
in my house about 20 degrees... It's a very fast read, only about 50 pages. But
it's a real page turner!” ~4/5 Stars by Lilac Wolf
“Ms Howell weaves a spell binding web that ensnares the mind and
lets the reader drift away in to another world. I highly look forward to the
next two books in this series!” ~4/5 Stars by Phoenix Johnson

Blurb:
All acts of magick take on shades of gray in the
end. Especially for Emma, one of four females witches who by
birthright belong in the social circles of the privileged upper ten thousand in London.
Yet, by rumor of the unknown and the misunderstood, she stands apart,
cut by her peers along with her cousins, because they hold a secret—each is
gifted with magick.
Their elders had taught them respect for their powers even when
mixed with a spanking amount of fanciful mischief. On the other
hand, if a lesson was warranted, then white verses black magick could
be hard to define. No where was the color of steam more evident than in the
matters of justice, a slippery term to define. Yet, they’d made breaking the
laws of society their mission. Most of their nights at
parties and balls were spent creating a magickal comedy of errors,
helping the uptight aristocracy side step their fastidious standards.
Only this year, days before Valentine’s Day, a damnable day for
women without suitors, Emma is not quite sure what is happening to her.
Something dark and seductive, something not of this world, is luring
her, possessing her, and she has no comprehension of what or who the
presence really is. But, when he does show his face finally, and she
feels him to be a night walker, she must fear not only the threat he poses to
her blood and to the energy or magick he can suck from her,
but also the danger he poses to her heart. After all of these days feeling him,
wanting him, she has to wonder if her feelings are just a matter of his
compulsion, if she is under this vampires own type of magick.
To complicate matters further, the vampire’s propositions are as
exciting as they are scandalous, to teach her how to power
her magick with the overabundance of sexual energy she bears. But,
how he knows such thinks he remains elusive about. And there is the
added attraction that this vampire was a failed inventor in life, one with a
basement full of contraptions she finds she can power through the use of her
sexual energy. Valentine’s Day seems like it could be all kinds of fun this
year now.
Yet, in these days of social
unrest and out-of-control creativity, what is a witch to do with
a vampire? When Valentine’s Day rolls around, and a secret is
revealed, what will be left for her?
